I got my heating mats today and it says to lay them on a well drained area.
I plan on laying them in my aquarium in the basement. Should i raise them up with a small platform underneath?
I plan on setting my peet pots on them.

I use an old Coleman cooler as my germination chamber. I put an old towel in the very bottom and then put the heat mat on top of the towel. I set my peat pot directly on the heat mat, and last year I had 100% success. Best of Luck! -Jeremy www.MyGiantPumpkins.com

put them on gravel or 1x4's or 2x4's so that if they get wet the water will run off them.
