Season is over for me, but a friend further north has a huge one going. It measures 371" OTT and was grown on the 1289 Holland 07 (1231 Pukos x 1347 Wallace) Will be weighed at the easter show in a few weeks time. Good luck come weighing time! Anyone know of 1289 Holland offspring? Do they weigh heavy? Ben

Hi Ben, I grew my 1289 this last season. The fruit was tall and wide with good orange color. I harvested it for the Puyallup Fair in early Sept. and it went 1,021 lbs. At 362.5 ", it was just .02% over. The rate of growth at harvest was 8.7 lbs. per day. I actually heard back from quite a few newer growers who had new personal bests with the 1289. Good luck to your Friend, I hope it goes heavy!!

Ben,
Sorry about your pumpkin loss. The upside was to see pictures of your boys. Please post one with You, Mom and the boys, you know that woman that takes such good care of you.
