I've grown them up my chain link fence with no problem. I'm sure a trellis will be OK, but they grow long so make sure the trellis is big enough.

Pete, I don't think they would have a problem. I had a Rouge vif d'Etamps climb a wisteria last summer. It wasn't a problem till the fruit started to get heavy. You can tie the fruit up, to keep them from tearing away if they get big.. lol. Cheers, Brent

Jack-B-Little will grow on a trellis. Wee-B-Little does not vine. It is a bush type.

Your patch fence works good too for small gourds or small pumpkins :) I ran egg gourds up part of mine last year.

Yes they will grow up a trellis....I plant cuc's on an 8' trellis. You will have to really tie it down in our Colorado winds....But it iZ a great way plant a space saving garden.

I use cattle panels if know what those are. I use 3 put steel "T" post along one side and then bend them into an arch and put more "T" posts. these work great for gourds, cucumbers and long beans. Almost anything that vines. Cheap easy to maintain and store at end of season.
