The 2008 season was a good one for me. It would not have been possible without help from fellow growers who were generous with their seeds. I would like to thank the following growers for thier seeds (in alphabetical order). These were the ones that germinated. DANNY DILL-730 Dill ('06). I told him I was looking for a dark orange one. He knew what to send. Sent me one of his father's favorites. I am honored.
RUSS PUGH-639 Pugh ('06). Russ actually gave me the plant in a one gallon container. It is nice to have a "Vineman" living in the same town.
JOE PUKOS-748 Pukos ('06). My 14 year old daugher Sami had to grow one of his seeds after seeing Lords of the Gourd. That seed had "Barney Magic."
EDDY ZAYCHKOWSKY-500 Northrup ('04). A grower made a post looking for this seed. Eddy offered it. After the grower posted he had found one, I asked Eddy if it was still available. He also sent some other nice orange crosses. He is the Santa Claus in this hobby.
VINCE ZUNINO-1069.5 Zunino ('06). Vince has spent many years crossing plants to come up with the perfect orange pumpkin. This may be one of those seeds.
If you can find the time, thank a grower for their seeds.

There is one more............
TODD KLINE-1226.5 Kline ('07). Another grower from north of the border who not only grows orange pumpkins, he also grows big ones too. It can be challenging to grow orange pumpkins over 1,000 pounds, but Todd does it quite often.

Thank's Chuck for the seeds you sent "me" last year. I was a greenhorn and it took some research to realize what I had. There were some rightous crosses in that envelope. One that will I will find a spot for this year.
