It is my belief that most of the pumpkin growing community views Hugh Wieburg starting the GPC at the Topsfield Weighoff as a good thing. Even if it was the result of a dispute with Ray Watermans WPC, which consisted of 4 sites at the time . Look at where that has brought us.

your right on woody. a different time ,different channel so to speak.
besides, most of us just want to go to weighoffs, eat some fair food, say hello to old friends.
i agree with your comment on hugh as well. a great guy and im very sad to see him end up so sick.
its nice to win but thsts only part of the journey. and it happens so seldom .friends mean a lot more in this hobby.
