Ray Waterman lives in Collins which is where the impact occurred. There are several growers near there.

Steve and all,

I live in Hamburg (30 miles south) and my farm is in Collins (50 miles south). Clarence Center is the crash site. It is only a short distance from the weigh-off in Clarence - about 2-3 miles away. Karl Haist is very close. My wife and I flew into Buffalo Airport on the same approach on Tuesday. Buffalo is a big city but a small town and everyone knows someone who knows someone. My daughter has co-workers who regularly take the commuter from Newark. Others as well. A lot will tell when the manifest is released. As neighbors we have a deep sorrow for all those affected. Our county health commissioner just mentioned the emotional loss needs of the families and citizens. Thank you for your prayers and words.

Please keep the prayers coming. The Clarence Community is still reeling from the terrible accident. We had prayers at our church today as I'm sure many others did. The TV and Newspaper have had non-stop coverage. From that I can see the immediate community is suffering. Pleas keep the Haist and Kubiak families in our prayers especially.
