"Here we go again" Part 3. Similar post on 2-6-2008.
Looks like a kid with too much time on his hands. Sending seeds would be a waste of time and effort. I doubt this is the future generation of the hobby.

Farmer Chuck got me hooked on the hobby by sending some great seeds last year, So I'm with him on this one.
This may sound bizarre but I think we need to get rid of all the electronic gadgets that kids have today and make them all go to boot camp.

Hey he's just a kid, Baum what do you have right now, and what about the seeds out of the pumpkin you grew this year?
I think everyone needs to help our younger growers out till they get the hang of things them selfs. I started out at 13 had no idea what i was doing that first year, but i got Don Langevins books, and everyone helped me, where has that gone?

Actually, if you closely study that first post that North Shore Boyz gives, you see that Josh was posting the entire cross on each seed envelope. That is, when he posts:
1043.4 sundstorm 1370 rose 1194.1 sundstorm ...
In reality, he has a 1043.4 Sundstrom, and it happens to be a cross between the 1370 Rose and 1194.1 Sundstrom.
The kid is apparently very young, and we ought to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Josh, you might like my 779. I think it could do well. The mother plant and the pollinator plant were vigorous and trouble free:
779 Warren 08 (964 Wolf X 1092 Martin)

I'm not sure you're right about the way his seeds are listed. If so, that would mean that the 1225 pukos would have a cross of 857 cristensen 06 X 1101 northup. It's cross is a 1231 X self.
However, you are right in the fact that everyone deserves a fair chance and he could have gotten confused over a number of things. We'll see.

Josh watched the L.O.T.G. on TV and was hooked.. so many of the seeds that i sent him were from the growers from the LO.T.G. that way could put a face with the seeds.. Josh is a good kid... His mother sent me a nice email telling me how excited josh would get when a bubble would arrive in the mail.... I know the feeling, still get excited when bubbles make it my way... so if you guys have a few seeds you will never grow send a good kid some seeds... Cliff your post is right on the money
