Lisa and the Pumpkin Fest Staff will have a much nicer version soon but I would like to give you the highlights on the weekend in Niagara.

Friday - Hospitality room as always with a lot of networking, talking, and drinking the Pumpkin fest staff always does this right!!! My only question is since last year the BiZ was celebrating the year of the rat with a rat hand cuffed to his wrist. This is the year of the Ox so will he be hand cuffed to an Ox?

Saturday - seminar from 9am till 4pm, we heard you loud and clear last year and have adjusted accordingly.
4pm till 7pm dinner on your own.

6:30pm doors reopen in main room for the BIG AWARDS SHOW
7pm The awards show starts and will run till we give out all awards. The room will be open till 1am with the cash bar and munchies going all night!!!

This is part of your convention fee and will be no extra charge for the night (except for the cash bar). We do have 1 request we would like to have this semi-formal and ask that all attending refrain from wearing hats (dress hats like derby's & nice cowboy hats are OK) T-shirts, holey &/or faded jeans, bib overalls. These are our winners for 2008 and we want to show them our respect. Jim Beauchemin our MC and myself will be wearing tux's and all presenters have been asked to wear a tie and coat. If you have an award you would like to present please contact myself or any GPC committee member, we will not add any presenter in Niagara so please contact us ahead of time.

Sunday - 9am - 12pm, room opens at 8:30am seminar promptly at 9am the GPC will have a quick over view of our 2009 updates and break out sessions to follow.

C'mon Dave he said you can wear nice jeans... read it. Surely you can handle 'goin out to eat clothes' or 'church clothes' for a few hours? It's just at the awards feed. :)Wish I could be there.

Dave we are REQUESTING semi-formal it is not a must, you may wear what you want if you so desire. We are just trying to honor the winners and Hall Of Fame inductee's that's all.

OkieGal thank you and I wish you could attend as well. There will only be munchies not a dinner (to much $$$) but I can see we will need cheese.



The good WiZard hat will be fine WiZ just ask BiZ to have a tie for the Ox.

Dick if you feel the chaps are proper atire for the evening then by all means wear them.

Not sure if I'll bring an Ox Dave.....almozt mizzed our connecting flight in Chicago lazt year on the way to the convention becauze of the rat and handcuffz.......You know thoze airport security agentz have no sense of humor at all ????......

a couple of questions regarding the main event at niagara

1. will there be a orange carpet for the inducties and
award winners to walk on when they enter the room?
2. can we bring our own coolers of booze into the award
room?
3. can we grill hot dogs and burgers during the awards?
4. if we dont like the presentation can we pants the mc?
that be you, and throw you out in front of the hotel?
5. will eddy z be there to lead the midnight tour cheers?
6. would it be possible to hold the meetings in the bar?
7. can the sngpg arm wrestle the negpga and nhgpga to see
which club is the strongest? bill rosonis can not
participate
8. alan reynolds may be attending. if so can the functions
be delayed until at least 6pm when he gets up?
9. also will there be a defibulator and ambulance standing
by in case alan needs a quick jolt?
10.lastly,how bout we have a pumpkin pie eating contest?
winner gets a copy of your survivor dvd. still the best
home made dvd i have ever seen. in fact what a great
fundraiser for the gpc???????
