Very nice book. I like the way it is written and how it can give you a behind the scenes insight.

That is a great book; it was bought for our club library! Thanks Ron and Pap for letting Susan Warren look over your shoulders.... and give the origins of two of the foundation pumpkins in our recent times!

I bought this book before I really got into pumpkins and before Don Langevins books, and it showed some of the emotions involved in the addiction. Got me hooked needless to say.

I checked it out from our local City Public Library. Its a great read and like many, I hadn't read a regular book in years. There was times that it was hard to put down and reading another chapter was a must.

About a year ago, I saw this book displayed in the New Books section. Since I read a lot, I picked it up with the idea of looking through it to see if it was interesting. Well, like everyone says, you can't put it down once you start. Needless to say, I was hooked and started doing research and ended up here at BigPumpkins.com. I learned so much last year and even though both pumpkins stopped growing at about 175#, I feel so much more ready to give it another try.

Gopher=target practice. That's how I was raised.
Still that is a GREAT book, well worth getting a slightly used copy off Amazon, and it was put into the club library. It's that good of a read.
Once you get ahold of it first time, only way to put it down is so tired your eyes won't focus .. :)
