Jason...North Shore Boyz have it right...I heat my house all winter with my wood buring stove..The blower make a huge difference ..ceiling fans also help circulate the warm air. Last night it was -4 deg F..my house was 76 deg..toasty!!! Tonight is going to be even colder. Mark

Wife won't let me get a fan for it due to the kids...so the regular pedestal fan helps....I am adding the ash to the patch and the lawn....soil reports show lack of K and low PH....spring tests will reveal the results....This stove is the best investment I have ever made...
