I would have to say 1423 Wallace (1068 x 1041) 1350 Wallace (1068 x 998) 1306 Jutras, 1367.50 Sundstrom, 965.00 Pukos, 958.50 Bowles, 1178 Lovelace 964 Wolf Just to name a few. The list could be long but from what I have seen/heard those would be some of the one to get more play this year.

I would add the 1350 Starr and 1363 Werner. Both performed very well in '08 and have great genetic backgrounds. The 1350 produced the 1528 Starr. It is the probably the most underrated seed of '07.

The list would be endless, however, for 2007 seeds, here are a few notables
901 Hunt- 1093 Hunt x 898 Knauss 1096 and 893 Privitera- 1068 x 998.5 and reverse 1159 Richards- beautiful pumpkin and grew 1102 Pukos
all three have been planted but I think 09 will see a surge after the tease we got in 08.

1279 Wallace 16% Heavy -1502x1450Wallace 1096 and 893 Pitrivera were on my 07 list too 1016 Sundstrom - 905 Tofnessx811Kuhn 1180Pukos - 998x1068 757Grande - 1502Wallacex805Pukos
These are a few I had highlighted from my list last year that just didn't see dirt. May have to do some rethinking on a few of these again this year.
I really didn't have enough room for more than 3 plants in 07, and I ended up with 2 plants at the end of the season. It was tough making the choices I made, and it's a good thing there is snow on the ground now, plenty of time to decide.

1100 Hester (07) (897 Hester(05) x 898 Knauss(01)) The 1100 Hester was 19% heavy. The 898 Pollinator grew the 1257.5 Hester(07), which was 21% heavy. The 897, from 05, was a 1260 Weir x 695 Handy, the 897 was over 20% heavy. The 1100 Hester grew the 915 Lovelace(08), 19% heavy, and the 993 Bowles(08), 5% heavy. I think this seed is waiting to be unleashed !!!

I agree with the 1100 completely, but don't overlook the 1348 Hester that was 1370 Rose x 1068 Wallace. Brilliant Orange, 16% heavy and the daddy was 1400 pounds. It also grew an 1100 pounder for Mr. Sproule in 08. Might be some potential there too. (my bias opinion) The Pumpkinguru

I'm with you on the 1348 Brett. I grew my 674 Zuhlke (1348 Hester x 1041 Mckie)on it, a three lobe pumpkin 7ft out on the main. It was the only one that i got set. The plant was the best plant in my patch. I am seriously thinking of growing it again. the 1180 Krug 07 has hardly been mentioned it is a 1432 Carlson/Peterson x 998 Pukos. It grew the 1370 C/P 2008. I am going to give this one a try.The 1188 Krug 07 (998 Pukos x 1231 Pukos)and 1343.2 Krug 07 (1231 Pukos x 1334 Daletas)look great also.

I'm saving my 1348 Hester for '10 in case I fall on my keyster this year! Along with another 1009 Young. I think that's a missed one off 07, (588 Young x 500 Northrup) and was a beaut on shape and nice solid thick wall. Not as dark as some orangies but. Seed sets were good too, wasn't afraid to fill out nice looking fat big seeds.

Ther's so many good crosses out there I think alot slip by the net,but to grow a 1528 with so few seeds put in and with the poor weather last year is outstanding,so we're going with the 1350 star this year, thanks Tadd and good luck for 2009.
