I disagree with post I read and you don't read me insulting them, laughing at them and so on. A grower once decided to do something as obviously illogical and stupid as cut the main vine. And it worked against all logic and the known facts.

The Researchers will tell you the research is still in it's infancy. If I have a hard time explaining it to you, it's because they had a hard time explaining it to me. They couldn't answer all my questions, objections and were honest enough to tell me when they don't know, but are hoping to find-out the answer. And what they do know at this point, I thought was fascinating enough to share.

I promised the Owner of this site that I wouldn't make his site look bad. And I left it voluntarily a couple years ago, even though the Owner said it was all right that I stayed on it.

I hoped enough time had passed to make a new start. All I can say is, if some growers want to make the site look bad with their insults and dirty digs, that's up to them. I offended too many of the wrong people by stooping to the level of those who don't matter and I won't make the same mistake again.

Thanks, it's nice to know there are some growers who understand I don't want to go down that counterproductive
again. It serves no purpose, except to make the site look bad. I apologize for my part to the growers who've make this site what it's always been and didn't appreciate feeling like they had a bucket of filth thrown on them back then.

I do enjoy your posts. they are a little lenghty , but that is ok ,becuase I know your intentions are good. Some of the best material about plants I have ever read was long and at times I needed to read twice.

I would like to know where you got your research. Perhaps, I'm being a bit negative, but Eastpointe is in the depths of Detroit. Do you work at a agricultural research facility or something of the sort?
