I dont go into chat much to know about whats going on with this contest, but how many of you are getting into the famous 605 Huff* Green and Shiny contest this year? Sounds like its going to be loads of fun especially with Erin (Boom Boom) behind the wheel ,,lol! And on top of that the 605* seed of Erin's sounds like a seed that could really bust a big one!

Well CountyKid. . . the winner gets a "very special prize" and all the entrants get a "cool t-shirt". As far as rules go, there's only one.. which is, the most biggest best officially weighed intact fruit grown off the "605* Green and Shiney" in 2009 wins. There is no second place. Losers will need to provide their own crying towels.

Well Erin, you found a great way to get your seed to dirt. I hope someone gets a world record from it.

Actually Joe,,one day Don and I were talking back in November and we both were thinking about growing a greenie this year, I suggested Erin's seed since she's been a good friend and the genetics looked good. Don agreed, then the ball just started rolling. I do hope that she throws in a plate of cookies to the winner, but that's just my way of thinking since my baking skills are lacking here.

I'm going to try too but I'm a little intimidated by the quality and experience of all the growers mentioned above! Thanks again, Erin, for the chance to get in on this contest. Bill (aka Papa Bill)
