I think thats a great idea pap. I'd love to hear from woman that like to pull weeds and bait a hook. I miss that since I left more rural country.

Don't forget to ask Geneva, former world record holder and one of the nicest people on the planet.

And I hope Erin chimes in here. I've seen and read a lot from her over the past couple of years. Nobody on the female side puts as much into the hobby as she does(hope I didn't offend any other women out there).

Dangit, once again I got caught sleeping at the switch, I thought of this idea for the CWPG newsletter awhile back and didn't get the post up, lol

There are many great dedicated women growers from all over the world, thier time is due again to make a statement. I agree that Geneva set the standard a few years back and continues to indure as one of the most consistant growers anywhere.

Every year women make thier mark at weigh offs, perhaps it's thier ability to multi-task and keep a goal insight that's the key,,lol

I hope the women stepup and share some ideas on thier patch experiences, I'll go so far as to jump on pap's bandwagon and ask that when they get thier bio's done to please consider passing them along to the CWPG for our newsletter as well

I dont know how I could have forgot Greenie(carry) or Michelle! Two of the nicest women growers out there that really know there stuff about growing a huge pumpkin thats for sure. I still have countless questions about pumpkins through out the year that I email Christy about, she has helped me out a lot over the years.
The OVGPG is lucky enough to have all these women like Heidi,Christy, Glenna, Michelle weigh there pumpkin at their weigh off every year, sure makes for a interesting and fun weigh off to go to, and no one takes them lightly thats for sure. lol!

i've talked with my wife debbie and i'm going to help her out with writing a story on the "mouse trap lady" as she's done pretty well at growing and without her team sundstrom couldn't have grown the 1459 (as that seed was 1 of the seeds she wanted to grow last season) and i can honestly say that she inspires me to be a better pumpkin grower (and person - shut up "g") and lets not forget carol stelts 1st woman with a 1400lb jacket or gerry checkon
