I'm looking forward to following this again! My Colorado boys have got the right stuff but Eddy has a comeback planned. Got to warn ya Wiz and Biz I've seen the Iceman's patch and he may have an IZ killer going on with the new greenhouse he is building.

No New Years Resolutions here but if were talkin pumpkin patch:
1) Vine Maintenance - I'm In Control Not The Other Way Around! I'm In Control Not The Other Way Around! Repeat that 1000 times to myself during the growing season, LOL!
2) Choose Vine Pattern and learn to do it ahead of time 3) A better Summer, hopefully more consistent temps this year will help, c'mon mother nature play nice this year, I need to break 1000 pounds this year!
Happy New Year Everyone! Chris

Talk to the local indian tribe about their yearly rain dance. Maybe do it with Nike Airs on. Last year they whipped up a Tornado.

Same as last year: 1000# + pumpkin, 100# + watermelon, 100" + gourd. The weather just has to cooperate better.
OkieGal, you don't need an excuse to come to Anamosa. Weighoff will be October 3, 8:00 to 11:30 at the Lawrence Community Center on the corner of Main and Scott streets, awards at noon. I'm sure the whole gang here would be happy to meet you!

Geeze Eddy, thats pretty easy for me.
Work Less & Grow More Pumpkins & beat all my BP's by about 400 pounds.
This has got to be my year. I told my wife she can look forward to a pumpkin free 2010 so my time is now.
