We have had some unusually cold and snowy weather in the Pacific NW that is now coming up on two weeks. The soccer grandma that lives here has been somewhat snowbound; her Honda can't handle 2-3 ft drifts and she has never driven the truck. Our road is about 1/4 mile long. Last night after returning from dinner, our road had been cleared for a car to get through. Did not know Santa had a plow on the front of the sleigh. Thank you Robin Halbert. In the spirit of the season I need to respond. in the middle of the Halbert Pumpkin patch will be a pole with a Christmas wreath attached. Also attached will be Santa's black plastic bag. Inside will be a box containing 12 green seeds from prominent growers, symbolic of green, and the 12 days of Christmas. They can be temporary tree ornaments also. (the Halberts need the extra help with green to give them a chance against Boom Boom in 09) A Christmas tree needs a Christmas Star. Robin has been begging and groveling for an appropriate star. He knows I have a 1502 Wallace. I hope the 1502 Wallace will be a bright enough star. Also included is the reverse the 977 Wallace as a backup light. I don't have a 1068 Wallace. If I did and made this public announcement I'm afraid Brooks would see it, rent an SR-71 and fly here to do do some midnight salvage (Scrooge). Thank you Halberts and Merry Christmas to the Pumpkin World and good friends and neighbors. You have been a great bunch of people to deal with for the last couple of years. However, I did not need a new addiction, horses are enough. Happy New year

Calli versus Boom Boom. A true squash fest. Let the best woman win.
Good luck to both in 09.
Bob, don't complain about the pumpkin addiction. At least you get free manure.

I can not tell a lie. I am not your Santa on a green John Deere. I only did from your gate down to your barn. It may remain a mystery. I will be your huckleberry this spring when it comes time to till your patch. Thank you and Merry Christmas all.

Does this mean that Santa wants his seeds back?

No you get to keep the seeds including the 1502. Hard to believe I could be this giving even at Christmas. Not in my DNA. would make my mom proud. Now I have to find the real Santa. A 1/4 mile drive on Christmas Eve. is going beyond nice. Now I have to offer Boom Boom Squash seeds to make it an even playing field. Makes no difference I'm going to kick both your butts in 09. Shut my mouth, I havn't got to the scales yet.
