That statement there goes to the top of my lists of sayings about pumpkin growing! It made me take a diffrent look at all the friends I have made through out the years of growing pumpkins, (way to many to count!). Growing pumpkins has even brought my Dad and I closer the last couple years.

I also like the statement '' Bad people dont grow giant pumpkins''

And of course this older statement'' the bulls*&t stops when the tail gate drops!

Saw this one on a cartoon. "Life is like growing a giant pumpkin." Often think about this when we have hiccups in life. Kids know I use this one in all sorts of ways and groan when I start my sentences with it.

well Brooks - one of the funniest things I have seen to this day was my first time ever on BP helping to host the live auction from the convention when people were bidding on line as well as from the convention. As we proceeded to type in "100 from the floor, 105 from the net etc." - a certain grower (you know who you are) typed in "if they are too drunk to get up off the floor, how can you let them bid?" - cracked me up and to this day I lol when I think of it.
