Yes everyone will need a passport for the Great Pumpkin Cruise II. If you missed the first cruise don't be left out this time. With only 200 tickets to be sold its a great opportunity to win a fabulous adventure in the caribbean.

We had a great time on the first ever Pumpkin Cruise. We will have to do it again and even get MORE growers on board. Many thanks to Joan Gibson for putting together the cruise and for working out the kinks while on board. It was a time for learning about pumpkin growing, trading ideas, and creating friendships. and seeing Dave Stelts dressed up as a CAN-CAN GIRL was priceless!!!!I am sure there will be a picture (or 40!) posted soon. Hope everyone got home safe and sound......cindi and pete

This cruise will definitely exceed the previous one, more stops and longer on each tropical island, better ship, better food just to name a few. These will be memories of a life time don't be the ones who miss it and wish you had gone.

My favorite memories were the ones spent in "the think tank" talking pumpkins for hours by the pool each night with Ron Wallace, Jack LaRue, Quinn Werner, Joe Jutras, Jim Sherwood, Alan Reynolds, Jerry Rose, Alan Gibson and a whole bunch more. Alan Gibson also put on a world class seminar at sea, believe me there is no better setting in January than a seminar in the tropics.

I also enjoyed formal night and my soup straw, the water slide racing for best time, dressing up like a woman?!?!?

I think you get the point if there is any way you can make the cruise you better get signed up today!!!! Buy some chances on winning a balcony room http://www.greatpumpkincommonwealth.com/raffle.php all proceeds go back to the growers with the Niagara seminar and awards dinner.

SEE YOU CRUISING!!!

Big Kahuna,
I unfortunately did not get to go on the cruise as posted above, but I sure wish I could have! I believe the Brunsts did go though. I'm hoping to win the raffle so I can indeed go this time!

The list is growing of growers who have signed up already and it looks much like the list from 2007. Some other growers who have stated their intentions to go would include:
Steve Daletas
Thadd Starr
The Ice Man - Eddy Z
Heino Helbock - I hope more of our European friends can make it.
Steve Connolly
Jim Beauchemin
Steve Jepson
Andy Wolf
Ken Mitchel
The WhiZ - will the BiZ make it as well???
The Glasiers - they also made the first cruise
Gary Miller
George Hoomis
Don Young
Dan McKie

We expect 300 plus of growers, families, and friends with our group so don't be left behind!!!!

Welcome aboard folks. Your going to have a great time. Jane & I can hardly wait. We look forward to seeing a lot of our old friends again & are excited about meeting some new ones. Nothing like a late-night heavy hitter chat at the bar, with 10 or more of the World's best growers. Man, what a thrill it was to be able to sit in & listen to these guys talk about their seeds, soil & growing techniques. If you don't drink too much, you'll remember what they said. :o).
