I just wanted to update everyone on the OAF seed drive that I put together a few weeks back. The remainder of the bubbles will be sent out tomorrow.

The seed drive brought in $290. This will all be sent to Dick for the OAF for hats, gloves, etc for the kids.

I wanted to thank everyone involved.

several days ago my wife and i visited the greenbush elementary school in west warwick r.i. to distribut with the principal twenty eight coats and hats your donations had helped purchase.
next week we go to the masie quinn school to also distribute coats and hats.the lasatly any money left will go toward some coats for horgan school.

it was in the low thirties this week when we went to greenbush elementary. we saw many of the less fortunate children dressed in t-shirts.
ill go back to these schools with some inexpensive sweat shirts for the kids. i saw far to many in t-shirts on this weeks visit.
i wish you all could have been there to see these kids get there coats. i dont mind telling you it was a very good yet sad day for me.
good because the childern really appreciated it and i know they will be better off for it, sad that they were in that situation to begin with.
i need to tell you also that one of the boys loved his coat so much he asked if it was ok to keep it on all day in school.
its like i tell the principals at the schools we visit. im just driving the car, the real people that supply the gas are all of you.
thanks again everyone. rest assured you made a lot of kids happy. last week, this week and next.
