hi there i'm not sure who to talk to about this. when i was looking through the wheigh off results i noticed that my pumpkin was given a larger wheight than what it was. there was a mistake made on my entry wheight. it should have been 388lb.. it was put in as 447lb. the parent was a 1362 poirier and self pollinated (bees). i think that will put my pumpkin in the 970something area. i wish it was bigger.

I don't know who to talk to either, but if the bees pollinated it, it was an "open" pollination, not a self.

I might be missing something here, but if your pumpkin was 388lbs....how do you get 970 lbs?

I think he means 970th place in the GPC standings.

I had to think about that one for a sec too. Then I realized he was talking about his placing in the GPC standing. At first I thought maybe he was using a new method of pumpkin weighing to go along with the new method for estimating. Using the new method I believe a 388 lber would estimate around 970.
