Last year Nick was very helpful in posting all results from all auctions. I used this information for many reasons and I'm sure others did too. Will you be doing this again this year Nick? or is someoone else willing to do so? or is it something that could be posted in a special area of BP by each club holding the auction? Your thoughts everyone?

I spoke with him last weekend and he says that he most likely will not be keeping track of all the auctions this year.

Sally, That is a great question. The seed auction price file needs to be updated with a large amount of info from each and every auction. The 2008 file version you did in Excel was tremendous. Completed last spring it now resides of the GPC's resources page.

I would certainly like to see this project continue for a long time to come. The information is very valuable to all growers of all skills. It allows every one to quickly place some type of true value to each progeny's seeds.

If anyone is interested in helping Sally with this most worthy project I will make sure the results are published for all in the GPC resource pages.

I truly enjoy keeping track of the winning bids at the auctions, but my work schedule this year, will have me missing a lot of the auction nites. I will do what I can and post the results, if not already posted. Peace, Wayne

I think that Ken and John could make a requirment as part of using this site for the auction that all data(seed, buyer, and cost) be submitted. Then it would be easy to compile a list.

For the files that I compile for Russ the buyer remains anonymous if that is any consolation. I am interested in selling price only to keep track of averages.

I would think that all (I hope, all) groups would be willing to forward a finalized list of there auction lot's and sale prices to whomever is compiling the list!!! Peace, Wayne
