gpp, winter rye will come up quick as long as it dont freeze two or three days in a row, you may still have a chance for winter wheat. feed mills and feed stores, either way get it on now, Bill

I don't know where in Columbus you are Peep but here in Canal Winchester I go to Falers feed store. I bought my winter rye today for .75 cents a lb. Picked up a 50 lb bag of alfalfa pellets & a 2 gallon jug ( bring your own jug) of molasses for my compost pile.
I'll give you directions if you like.

Winter Rye. Not too much seed. Lots of nigrogen when you till and your patch will not wash away with the spring rains. Just ask your local Agway or farm supply store.
