I grew it & it was doing great until vines rotted , the shape was perfect ,,,Just wondered what others did? if any were growen ??

Hey fisssh , I grew the Holland 1014 this year and a very wet growing season it was here in Southern Maine. The plant did very good as it was on the high end of the growing area , vine was healthy fruit was wide, long but low . Final OOT was 349 in. 168 (c) 92.5 (ss) 88.5 (sb) weighed 855 lbs. I have just set it up in front of the house getting ready to carve for Halloween. I have it stood up on the stem end and it's like 50 inches tall and 54 inches wide !

All my plants got diseases when pumpkins were young aprox 30-35 days old , The one on the 1014 plant was doing 38lbs a day ( for several days) just before diseases got them , the plant was a great plant before that! but pumpkin was very impresave ,The shape ,no dills, not to big ribs(yet), inside was perfect--no cracks,blossem thick & solid, & went a bit heavy even though it had hardly started growing ,Ott was 690 , but lbs was 719, .Holland must have growen one i would sure think, ?? , this pumpkin sure impressed me !!

Hi guys. I did grow my 1014 this season after seeing the beautiful 1376 Michelle Lofthouse grew last year in Southern Ca. It was by far my largest pumpkin at 30 days, but blossom split during some intense growth days.
