more-less took the year off.... needed some time away from pumpkins and had some other things going in our personal lifes. basically didnt even go into the patch for last 3 month..... the time off was well needed as we are refreshed and ready to get at it again in '09.

I know the feeling Danny, family first, cant blam ya there at all. I think a little time off will make you grow that much better next year, and if thats the case, look out!,,,LOL. I think the time off gives you a rest from that burnt out feeling to where you woulnt have went that extra mile like you would before. One thing taking a year off might do is make it a long winter waiting to grow in the spring next year,lol

With a 1631 under your belts is probably quite nice to take a step back. Absolute pumpkin stars. Cant wait to grow another 1041. Good luck for next season boys. Thanks Stu

seeing the size fruit these guys brought to clarence and great valley....amazing considering 3 months out of patch.
