I know it's getting late for ag fairs but....maybe next year?

A friend produces craft gourds (nice ones!).

Does anyone know of any events in CT or Southern New England where judging &/or sales opportunities exist?

Thanks in advance.

I was wondering the same thing around here Tremor, wonder what the market would be for a giant pear gourd that goes roughly 50 to 75lbs?,,lol You just dont see these type gourds sold around here, only ones I have seen that are similar is the goose neck gourds. These giant pear gourds would be great for the craft maker I bet.

These pear gourds sure are fun and really easy to grow, ether on the ground or trellis, I have found these plants are pretty much disease free from what I have seen the last 3 years of growing them.

I was offered $25-$30 each for my pear gourds out here on the west coast by a guy that also buys and sells giant pumpkins for displays. Brooks the ones I weighed were just over 50lbs.
