Just wondering if this contest was still in effect. I hadn't heard anything lately. If I recall correctly, the person that grew the largest pumpkin off the 1068 Papez would win a 1068 Wallace seed

The only one I know of is the 1130.3 lb'er grown by Dave Pitura. He could definitely make good use of a 1068, if his is the biggest that is.

I grew a personal best 842 on the 1068 Papez. Best seed I ever have grown. With the rainest season since 1993 and my patch on a creek bottom floodplain, the growth was amazing. I'm sure if I had decent weather it would have given Mr. Pitura some competition.

I too grew a personal best 599 with the seed. Hardly any care at all and a cold summer. SOLID AS A ROCK!! and went heavy. Looking forward to growing again this coming year.
