I have some seeds that were controlled from 2 plants. Burpee Prizewinners, seeds were out of 96lb fruit.

Prizewinners are not field pumpkins Rick. They're maxima's like AGs. Field pumpkins are pepos, pepos have hard stems.
I did a controlled cross on a 95 Bell this year, it is selfed. It was planted late and made it to about 50 lbs. I picked it a few weeks ago but never weighed it. It didn't recieve any care. Its a very nice looking pumpkin. If you're interested in seeds email me.

To tag onto PA's comment they have hard and square stems.... We grew a 85.5 pound C.pepo from Fenton McInnis's 145 pound W.R we crossed it with males from one of Fenton McInnis's 120 pound field pumpkin. We havent carved it yet but when we do we will (hopefully) have seeds available if your interested.
