We would like to know everyone's results for 2008 official field pumpkin (c. pepo) weights. Heaviest here in Windsor was 120 lbs. grown by Fenton McInnis. Last year Fenton grew a World Record @ 145 lbs. Thanks, Danny

Dani Gadberry grew a 85.5 pound field pumpkin from Fentons World record 145 (weighed at Canby weigh off). I had one in early September from Fenton's 120 pound 2007 that I blew up, it was right at 112 pound. Great fun! We will definatly grow c.pepo next year.

Every year, Jeff Danielson from Idaho Falls dominates the pepo division at Brian's weighoff. His was 91.5 this year.

Thanks for the replies. I forgot to mention that we had one @ 107 lbs. out of McInnis' 145 '07 and one @ 92 lbs. from a 'Phat Jack' seed. I did not enter the 107 at our weigh-off because it still had a lot of green in it.
