I would like to congratulate the SNGPG club for putting on a world class weigh-off with world class people. The dedication and team unity they have there is second to none and it is easy to see how they put up such incredible numbers each year. I would like to thank all of you for an awesome weekend and the hospitality you showed Carol and myself you guys rock!!!

The hype was huge and the pumpkins just as big, I watched as monster after monster got off loaded. I knew this was going to be a day to remember with a cloudless sky and a huge crowd (I figure about 2,000 attendees) The sight of PAP getting mauled by 100 or more children during his OAF give away was priceless. Steve Connolly and Joe Jutras eyeing each other up and jawing like two prize fighters ready to take the title. Much like the tradition of prize fighting Steve gave the pumpkin world pregame hype. He did what no one has ever done before and stuck his neck out to give his weigh-off, club, and all growers something to look forward to and it was great. The courage and guts it took to step out on that limb to help all growers gain more recognition is admirable and we all owe him a huge thank you.

Yes, thanks Steve! You were great on the Today show, I would be too nervous to speak, let alone give an interview!
