A big congratulations should be given to Gary Grande on a new PB yesterday. I couldn’t make the event but the Biz told me he got his first 1,000 pounder to the scale yesterday. His health problems have been noted on this board earlier this year. I’m not sure how many of you have tried growing pumpkins from a hospital bed, but doing that and getting to 1,000 pounds while running a growers group is no small task. Especially at 5,280 feet. Gary is now one of six growers in Colorado to get to the 1,000+ pound mark this year.
