It's gone strangely quiet about Steve's gourd. I haven't seen any posts for a couple of days. The anticipation is palpable. Anybody know the latest? Has it been picked yet? Still growing? Latest measurements?

Can you imagine how hard it would be to sleep at night these days for Steve? Will it go light? Will it go heavy? What time is the "Today Show" coming? Will they be in the way? (Yes.) Will it split? Will it have a mouse hole on the bottom? Will we have mechanical difficulties lifting it? Will my truck break down on the road? Aaauuuggghhh!

I Envy The 'Kin, I do not envy poor Steve right now, this is a very tough spot to be in. I sure hope it is fine, makes it to the weigh, and murders the scale. Good luck Steve...

If I were Steve I'd probably be camping out next to it, just to see it through these last few days. I hope it all goes well and he gets it there safely. I think we are all pulling for him and everyone else who has yet to bring their prizes to the scale.

Picture of the Beast from the East is in the Photo gallery traveling down the road. The trailer was bending. I can't believe the trailer didn't break
