I did but deer and a serious drought took their toll.

It seems though the two plants that I have are experiencing a rebirth of sorts and putting out good new vines this late in the season.

A deer ate all the earlier fruit but I have a fruit coming on now though it is way late in the season, especially here in the NC mountains.

My Big Max plants also faltered but I still have some late fruit.

My early fruit stunted and that was that. Biggest one was 16 pounds. Drought hurt them but with some recent rains the plants are growing again and putting on some late fruit.

Post a seed request if you need seeds, the seeds here are geneticaly capable of getting alot bigger than the ones you get from ferry morse.

Seed rack seeds (general catalog or bought off a rack) are good only for training or halloween pumpkins. A lot of growers on here will share hand selected and bred seedlines seed that will ouperform those other seeds. Just ask nice. :) Good luck.

KRC, that OK gal pretty much said it all...lots of seeds will become available on this site in the late fall...watch the seed exchange board, ask nicely, tell em who you are, where you are from, a little about yourself, etc. Be willing to send a Self Addressed Stamped Bubble Envelope,(also known as a bubblie or bubbleope) for them to send your new seeds in...and you will have plenty of GREAT AG seeds. A thank you note is also a very cool thing!!! Peace, Wayne
PS...if you want to reach for the stars...a lot of great auctions, (lots of the top older and new seeds...world records and such) which raise money for weigh off prizes, for the different clubs are held on this site during the winter...just hangin out and watching the auctions is way, way, way funn!!!!!! The top seeds bring top $$$, but lots of great deals too!!
