Beautiful! Magic in the patch. I grew the same seed and topped out at 708. A master grower at work. Great job Steve.

I just took a look. Wow Steve! for your sake I hope it goes heavy. I've had a 1566 Rodonis pumpkin weighed at the 2008 Alaska State Fair in August. Taped 343 OTT, weighed 907 lbs, 8.9% heavy, color and shaped similar. I say it goes heavy or it wouldn't have stayed together this long.

I see now that in John Doucets dairy (5150) he posted a picture of this pumpkin from a far. But when he took the closeup shots it was of Steve's 1689 which also looks impressive....
