My good wife and I are coming out from Denver to the Topsfield weigh-off this weekend. I'm looking forward to seeing some big pumpkins. We are staying in Salem but spending the better part of Saturday in Topsfield. If anyone has any good tips of food to eat or things to see at the fair please let me know. I look forward to meeting you all at the event. I'll be wearing a denverpumpkins.com shirt so if you see me say hi.

Jamie, You should see some pretty big pumpkins at Topsfield allright, it's usually a good show. The weigh-off will wind up around 1PM if things go according to plan...LOL! That leaves the whole afternoon and evening to take in the rest of the Fair, which is doable. Shoot me an email with any additional questions, grew up in Salem and currently reside in Topsfield.

Ouch. That is 4:00am Denver time. I've heard that the event starts at 8:00 or 8:30 so maybe I will roll in after you guys are unloading. lol

How long does it take to drive from Salem to Topsfield?

This'll be my 1st Topsfield, so I'm not that familiar with the specific area.
On my map rte 107 N. to rte 97 N, it appears about 3-4 towns over, I'd guess 20-25 min.
Good thing your not South of Boston it could be 10-12 hours and the $ame in toll co$t$.
