Hi I bought three treated 16 ft 4x4 and was wondering how far down to drill my holes and the exact cut on the four by fours.Let me know and I will cut it the same thanks Marty

Just be careful setting it up and attaching the hoist. I have seen diary posts of growers with ladders propped up against the tripod to hang the hoist and it looks DANGEROUS to me. I set mine up for the first time tonight as a test. I got the tripod part way up, hung the hoist and then raised it all the way up. I did this myself without any help. When doing it over a pumpkin, you will want someone watching the hoist so it doesn't bang into the pumpkin. Just be careful and don't get hurt.
