Congrats to Chad Revier!

Chad brought his 1500# (DMG) 985 Werner and his 1428# 1207 Young to our weigh-off today. I know the 985 has seeds in it because some of them fell out when we put it on the scale....peeeeeUUU.

Some other notables:
Kevin Marsh another giant well over 1100.
Chad Revier 1000+ off his 1041 McKie
First timer Mitch Krause 1000+.
Foss, Bowles (with the NEW 998), Dean C. nice fruit again. And EVERYONE else. Big / small they all brought GIANT smiles across the board.

What a great turnout. It was busy as we had 30 fruit this year compared to last year.

Congratulations. I took a few pictures and plan to post them soon. Also I talked to the Mpls. Star tribune reporter that was there and she said she plans to have a article on the weigh off in the paper tommorow, 28th, in the metro section.

Thank you everyone. Congrats to all the growers who entered. It was a very enjoyable day and wonderful to meet everyone. The 1428 Revier is 1207 young x 1041 McKie. The 1500 Revier DMG is the 985 Werner x 1207 Young. The 1065 Revier is 1041 McKie x 985 Werner.

I should also add Chad's 1500.5 actually weighed more than the scale read. It was leaking slop pretty badly ON the scale. Seeds falling out / etc. I'd guess the fruit could have weighed as much as 1525. Who knows.
