Every year someone will have to brake suddenly. If you take a 1,000lb pumpkin and come to a sudden stop. You suddenly get a momentum and inertia math problem that is scary.

Tie them down good

Energy= Mass X Velocity

thanks shannon.

my problem is energy x mass x velocity x (i hope it is heavy)

shannon is right, safety first, have a safe trip, it has been a long year.

Owen if the bed of the truck is empty...you don't have to worry about it :)

I'm gald my mass number is small, that makes my energy number smaller also, coorect? You going Shannon?

Inertia = Mass x Velocity. Energy = Mass x the speed of light squared. Mass x Deceleration = a messy truck bed.

Because Energy= Mass x Velocity... You only let them do that once. Luckily the straw bale was there so it did not build up speed.
