The Carlson-Petersen pumpkin is a state fair record. The overall Iowa record is Don Young's 1662. But I won't be surprised if the team from Clinton has one to challenge that in October.

Tom I just weighed the 793 VanHook which was pollinated by a 1423 Wallace it taped 900 pounds and weighed 960 pounds. Its a certfied scale and notory signed. Ill post pics in my diary as soon as possible.
