Looking for any information on what kind of a release and sling setup people are using for doing pumpkin drops. We got the crane, and the junk car, just not sure on the rigging.
Any help would be appreciated. the drop will take place during the Damariscotta Pumpkin Festival and Regatta.

slip knot drop it right out of the pumpkin ring just attach a long rope

I have an all steel release that works very well
I am selling them for 99$ each, adjustable release pull
to take into account the weight of your rope and the height of the crane. biggest dropped with it so far is 1420 pounds.
