The 918 Duffy was indeed the 1173 Macari x self and left open...my personal best to date! Thanks Fred! Took this season off from competition, but grew the 918 seed for porch carvers. Late start, no drip system for feeding, small planting area, and little care and feeding 'cept for powdery mildew control. Plant threw a 'kin about 8' out, and it starved every other main or sidevine fruit. Pumpkin tapes 300 lbs, good shape, no problems, salmony orange color. Plant still healthy and growing and putting out more 'kins! Hope that fills you in a little, Duff
