School got closed tomaroww. Any ideas on what to do? Just got power back. Only one aroundwith internet when we had power off earlyer. It went of and on twice. But I can't stand another day of hanging out with my uncle looking at the stock market. He dosn't have internet. So he comes hear. Any idea on what to do.

P.S ...I know this is off topic but this would get more people to see. Power might go off and don't have anything for patch prep.

Damn, cut the kid some slack! He could be out smoking crack or just hanging around town being a vagrant. At least he has a hobby that keeps him out of trouble. Just imagine if he were not here asking a silly question he could be out mugging your grandmothers!

Maybe late season stress is catching up to some.

Think back......what was it that got you interested ingrowing AG. Where did you start the process of learning what to do. Who helped you along the way? What have been the ups and what have been the downs in your pumpkin growing experience. How long have you been growing AG. Now compile a story about your whole growing experience and put it in writing. Better yet...type it out and include pictures and send it to me as I am compiling a book on peoples pumpkin growing experiences! 800 word minimum and pictures! No limit to total number of words but 800 minimum! Make sure to have pictures! email me with your contribution at [email protected] and title it "My contribution!"

You got a local library around? Maybe find a good book to pass the time. I like to go to the library to read newspapers and magazines. You may be able to get some time on the internet there as well.
Another idea....any place you could volunteer your time for a good cause?

I volenteered at a animal shelter for a very long time. 4 years I think. Last time I was there I felt very un-welcome. When I go to the libary there is nothing in my favorite magazines and the others about politics. Plus they are out of power so there is no good light to read.

Not having power wasn't that bad. Now I'm really mad because my mom was supposed to tell my uncle the internet wasn't working. Now he is acting like he lives here. Bassicly taking over the kitchen. Also shaker I not the kind of kid that hides behind my video games. My gamer friend is always telling about some game that costs a fortune. I tell him I don't play that much.

I have done a lot of things. There is an upside... My uncle eats our fod and my sends me to the store. With the miney she owed me I got a post to make a bird feeder today. Plus a dissabled family friend got back from jersey and needs help in her yard. So I will do that taday or tomarroww. She always exargarates things. she said she had a huge tree limb on top of her garage . There arn't any tree than 4 inches think. Plus it is always fun being around her. She is like that cool aunt I never had.
