milford, CT,

With all the bad weather this year across the U.S....what do you think will be the weight of the heaviest fruit in 08? In past years when we have had what seemed to be a difficult year....yet...a few guys still seemed to grow amazing weights despite the weather. My Guess....1490 lbs...Mark

I think we will see at least one over 1700 if not two, along with 5-6 over 1600.

I think Jutras will keep the crown for another year. If that is not the case, then there is some wolf crying going on on this place!

First I thought that there would be a new record but with how nasty the weather has been I don't think it will be broken.

despite the weather there will always be the exceptions. im sure that there are quite a few in pumpkinland that are presently in the 1,400 and 1,500 pound range.
one or two may go on to challange joes 1689.
holding the pumpkin and yourself together these final weeks is the trick.
