I recently had a pumpkin that split under the pumpkin and it started rotting from the inside out. Yesterday I opened it up only to find that the inside of the pumpkin was laced in mould. I took the seeds out and 24 hours later they had mould on them so I washed them down with water for now. Is there anything I can do to keep the mould off such as my idea of possibly rinsing the seeds in 10% bleach? I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not. Also what should I do with the rotten part of the pumpkin? Should I remove it before it gets into the soil or should I just let it rot into the soil?

dry the seeds as fast as possible. the seeds will be ugly, but should germinate fine, all other factors being equal.
i get rotten pumpkins out of the garden asap.

Most of the seeds are actuly looking normal but some grew half in inch of fuzzy mould in 24 hours.

Put them on a screen & use a fan on them. We also use a dehumidifier as well when drying seeds this early. Good luck.
