Just a thought here....Eddy indeed iZ a most gracious supplier of seedZ when someone asks.....
I often think when I give out a good known seed for someone else to grow....was that "THE Seed" ..The Silver Bullet seed.... because if all growing conditions ideal.... the seed does have the final say....but I wonder how it did for that grower.....
Eddy gave me a 1016 Daletas 01 thats currently is measuring my best ever........Thanks Eddy....
Im sure there are others from Eddy OR other growers..... How iZ is growing for you....??

The 998 I have in is from Eddy, in the guess the weight contest from last year. It will be one of my top 3 pumpkins this year, maybe finishing heaviest.
I also put in the 511 Eddy-Z, but not in the best of spots and it was mistreated. I should at least get some good seeds from that cross.

Dick, This fall, a little while after weighoffs, is a good time to request seeds. Quite a few people offer seeds from their pumpkins at that time. Many times, all you need to do is send a self addressed, stamped, bubblepack envelope, and a request note to the grower. You can also check out SeedOutlet.com, and find some very nice seeds there.

Eddy is a very generous man indeed. He hooked me up with two 1180 Daletas seeds. I had germination problems with the first seed but the second one is doing well. I pollinated it with the 805 Pukos and it tapes to about 600lbs and growing. Thanks Eddy!!!!

Dick, I try to grow big pumpkins LOL. I did grow a 1041 lber. last year.....that's big for me. This year hasn't been as good a pumpkin year for me, but I'm still enjoying it. I have some seeds from a couple of the pumpkins I grew last year, if you'd like some. Email me at [email protected]. if you're interested. I'm not saying they are the top notch seeds, but they could do quite well. Good luck in your seed search.

Dick72.....later in the fall after weighoffs there will be lots of people ready to ship you seeds. Are you in a climate that you have 4 months without frost to plant and raise a pumpkin? If not....prepare your soil and wait till after weighoffs and lots of people will send you seed when you send them a self address stamped bubblewrap envenlope! In the meanwhile Doug is offering you some seeds at [email protected] and Patchmaster has put up EDDYZ's email address as eddygives2all.com

Dick72,
eddygives2all.com is not a real address.
Stick around through the winter. Seeds obtained now can't be planted until next April. Folks here will gladly share for the cost of a self addressed stamped bubble envelope.
There is a seed request message board on this website.
