What a year... Growing big for fours years and have never lost a plant...now this year I'm O-for 6...lost them all. I've promised a porch size pumpkin for display (local nonprofit) and can't deliver. Any OVGPG guys have one for sale (200-300lbs)? Thanks Jim

When do you need this porch pumpkin? I am a ways away, there might be someone closer. I have one that if it makes it full season will be available after 10/4. Possibly can have someone meet you in ohio. Have to find out exactly where, but my brother in-law has 3 kids in ohio and goes there a few times a year. I am willing to give this pumpkin up for free, but it must be after 10/4.

Jim,
I have a 1368 Liggett x 893 Privitera that is the slowest growing pumpkin I've ever seen on one of the best plants I've ever had. Go figure. My other pumpkins are respectable.
This pumpkin is currently about 450 pounds and, unless it takes off within the next five weeks, you're welcome to it. The only thing I ask for in return is the seeds.
We can weigh only two pumpkins at Circleville and Chillicothe. This is our fifth pumpkin.
If you can wait a couple more weeks, I can give you a more definite committment and can help you load it.
