This is ^&^*^*)#@ ridiculous! My high today was 70, the wind speed was almost as much!!! Has anyone ever had to account for a windchill factor during their growing season? I just need to vent a little bit... My weather sucks, my golf game has turned even worse and my wife is about to shoot me because I have turned into an utter ASS the last few weeks because nothing can seem to go right. Anywhere!!! Now that I got that off my chest....What kind of gains are you guys seeing????? I am only getting about 4" OTT/day.

Need to make a correction. I looked at my list of OTT's and it has been two days since I measured before today. Thus making my gain 2"/day

Same here 40's tonight, brrr. Blankets are over top both pumpkins with plastic over top to keep the blankets dry from heavy dew. Ready for the heat wave coming up this week. Sheesh one extreme to another in temps.

MY MY MY, You guys have it made. What if your high was 99 during the day and the nightime high was 90. No matter how much misting and shading you do your leaves still burn. THIS MY FRIENDS, is my weather not only today but for 4 MONTHS STRAIGHT. Now.

One time that we can't complain about Minnesota. A couple of weeks of highs of 85, lows of 65 to 70 and lots of sun. No wind or bad thunderstorms but could use some rain. Great growing weather, of course in a month we will have snow and in two it will be 40 below. Ha.

You are complaining about 70? The average high in my country for the two hottest months of the year is 68-72. The average night time temp in the hottest two months is about 55. In July this year we reached a daytime temp of 56 and a nighttime temp of 44.

Calling for 75 today and mid 80's through the early part of next week. Although when I checked the weather the other day, it said today was going to be 82. So do you really want to trust the NWS? I don't think so!
