I have asked around locally, and asked Bill himself, but there seems to be no decent pic of the 1402.5 Bobier. I was wondering if anyone out there was at the contest ( I think he weighed it in Pumpkinville contest last year) and took a pic or 2. If you have one or two pics, could you please email me with them at [email protected].

Thanks.

Thx Chris, Not sure if his 1405.5 is the same as his labeled 1402.5, but it is a step in the right direction. Andy and you NYSGPGA people, did Bill weigh his 1402.5 in at Oswego? If so, I have a pic to compare to. The pic labeled is the 1405.5.

Just want to see what genetic traits came out in my fruit from the 1402.5.

Here is what it is listed as in GPC final numbers for 2007. If this is what your looking for it gives genetics.

aggc has pictures of them. btw there is a 1405.5 Bobier 2007 and a 1402.5 Bobier 2007. the 1402.5 looks to be more of a wheel shape with lots of green color to it. man I would love to grow two 1400 pounders in the same year. lol

THanks for all the responses.

Sad news tonite... "Da Tuna", my 1402.5 Bobier fruit split on me. Lived up to the phrase, "If you aint blowin em, you aint growin em"....

I plugged crack with some plummers wax and will try to get her to grow another week or two. Very sad news here but the amazing part is that with everything I have been through in the past 4 years (vandalism of my 751, heart attack in 2007, 2-4-D patch problems a few years back, etc,...) I am pretty calm about this one. I have pics and will post very soon. Gotta work on my 3rd Sothern Comfort Manhattan before I get the pictures downloaded. Drinking helps... it really does..

Ouch Rocky!
I hope the pumpkin on your 1502 holds up until the end. It could go way heavy.

Sorry to hear the news Rocky! Your 1502 is still bigger than anything in my patch so........... the game is still ON.

I saw a dead rabbit on the side of the road today Ned, kind of made me chuckle, as I found the live (huge 8 inch)slug a few days ago..

I guess it is better to be a live slug, than a dead rabbit.

Sorry about "Da Tuna" but don't give up on the 1502 with a little "good" luck you should be able to squeeze 1K out of it! If not I'm a crown royal man myself you bring the vermouth!
