I really dont know how old it is, I dont think its very old I spotted it under some leaves and I put a piece of styrofoam under It, First time growing cantaloupe like this I had four seeds and only one took and I planted it beside my watermelon plants and this cantaloupe is bigger than my watermelons wright now.

If you want go my diary from 2006 I have some photos of my 49 and 50 pounders. Use the ott pumpkin chart for weight.its really close. The 49 pounder was 127 ott est.52 and the 50.2 pounder was 125 ott est.50.7 pounds. If its fuzzy it has a ways to go, keep an eye on it when it stops groeing and you start to smell it turn ripe.It will get a orange yellow tint to it then get it weighed and the ott.
