Today I found a worm in my vine and it was big. There is probably many more. What can I do to get rid of them and their parents FAST? I think they may just be in one of my plants but they could be in them all.

unfortunately you just found out the hard way why it is important to spray the plants several times starting in june with several different insecticides. i suggest both a contact killer and also one that will be taken up within the plant (sestemic) now that the borers are inside you will need to first inspect the entire plant , look for the location ( dropped leaves or frass - looks like saw dust - on ground) slice the top of the vine and extract the borer

This is my first year growing so it is the year to learn. What do you recomend as a sestemic insecticide? Where do these bugs lay their eggs on leaves or vine and inside or outside the plant.
