Some one told me that August 7 is the deadline to have a large pumpkin. My pumpkin is almost #100 and it came from a #1200 seed. Do I even have a hope of reaching 4-500lbs? I really hope so. Need help PLEASE, thanks.

You should be good to above 500lbs with any luck.

I agree with Jeff. I have two pumpkins smaller than yours, and I'm hoping to get something over 700 lbs., if the weather cooperates.

I should add that I had a pumpkin pollinated on Aug. 1(give or take a day), and it ended up to be estimated at around 530 lbs.(no official weight). Good luck!

Kaptain, take a look at the Benchmarks that were posted here and it will tell you alot. Just do a seach for benchmarks.
